The 1997 Florida Marlins were one of the most unlikely champions in baseball history. Presented here is an opportunity to own a ring given to Master Scout Al Diez in celebration of the young franchise's first title. This size 13 ring features the old team logo with the marlin swimming through the letter F, surrounded by diamonds and "1997 World Champions" around the face. The left shank has, in relief, "Diez", the team's 5th season logo, and "Scout". The right shank has, in relief, the "Marlins" logo, the World Series trophy, and the phrase "One Heartbeat". The ring is stamped "10K" and is engraved, "Master Scout". It comes in the original presentation box, with an engraved plaque that reads, "1997 World Championship Ring Presented to: Al Diez Florida Marlins Baseball Club". This ring comes with an LOA from PSA as well as an LOA from the Diez Estate.
